Team name generator

Free tool // Safe for work

Funny team names for trivia night, work, sport and game night, with an Aussie set. Five ideas every press, all of them safe for work.

What is the team for?

Your team name will show up here.

Need a team name in the next thirty seconds? Pick what it is for, press the button and you get one big name and four more to choose from. Every name is safe for work, school and a family trivia night, with a few puns we are not sorry about.

How to pick a team name

    • Say it out loud first. The quizmaster will read it out all night. If it is hard to say, it will get mangled.
    • Short beats clever. Two to four words fits on the answer sheet and the scoreboard.
    • Know the room. A pun that lands at the pub might not land at the school fundraiser. Everything here is safe for both.
    • Tap a smaller name to swap it into the big box, then press Copy for the team chat.
